High School Girls Lacrosse

Lincoln Girls Lacrosse fields both Varsity and JV teams at Lincoln High School for the spring lacrosse season. Our Varsity team is one of the strongest in the state, competing in the state semi-finals in 2019, in the state finals in 2021, and in the quarter finals in 2022, 2023 and 2025. Our JV team focuses on developing skills, confidence, and teamwork — perfect for both new and returning players. Regardless of whether you're a dedicated club lacrosse player or brand new to the sport, we welcome you to join Lincoln Girls Lacrosse -- we have a place for you on our high school teams.

Season Dates: March 2, 2026 – Late May 2026 (State Playoffs)

Offseason & Preseason: Optional conditioning and skill sessions held in fall and winter months

Practice Location: Mike Walsh Field at Lincoln High School

Frequency: 2–5 practices per week

Game Schedule: Typically 2 games per week, mostly on weekdays; playoffs in May

Home Games: Lincoln High School

Away Games: Across the Portland Metro and greater Oregon region

Lincoln Girls Lacrosse is open to Lincoln High School students, grades 9–12.

In addition, students can play for Lincoln if they attend a private high school that does not offer lacrosse and live within the Lincoln catchment zone.

No prior lacrosse experience is required — just bring energy, a team mindset, and a willingness to learn. Our JV program welcomes first-time players!

Uniforms: Game uniforms and practice pinnies provided

Players provide: Lacrosse stick, goggles, mouthguard, and cleats

Goalies: Specialized gear provided by the club

Financial assistance is available — we believe every student-athlete should have the chance to play, inquire about options on our Financial Assistance Request Form.

When does the season start?

Tryouts begin in early March, with the season running through late May.

Do I need previous lacrosse experience?

No — our JV program welcomes first-time players!

How many games will we play?

Varsity and JV teams each play 15–20 games per season, depending on tournament participation.
