Lacrosse Stick
A well-strung girls stick is essential to player development. If you have questions about a stick you may already have or are looking to purchase, please feel free to email us.

Girls Goggles
All players must wear SEI certified goggles, and you should have your athlete try them on for fit, as they are generally sold in two sizes (youth vs adult / regular).
We suggest you visit at Dicks Sporting Goods and start with the STX Focus-S Goggle
Some girls lacrosse players choose to wear a girls lacrosse helmet for safety concerns. Like with the goggles, you want to try this on for size, and there really is only one option to choose from, the Cascade LX Headgear
Other Gear and Equipment Comments
Players are required to provide their own equipment, consisting of:
- Girls lacrosse stick (boys lacrosse sticks are very different!)
- Goggles - Safety standards changed Jan 1, 2020. Please make sure googles are stamped with "SEI certification" symbol.
- Colored mouth guard (colored so referees can easily see that they are being worn)
- Cleats (soccer cleats are fine - lacrosse specific cleats aren't necessary)
- Water bottle for hydration
- Appropriate clothing for cold, wet practices. Lacrosse is no fun if you're cold and wet! Beanies, gloves and rain gear are a must on cold and wet days!
Uniforms for Youth Teams
Lincoln Girls Youth Lacrosse uniforms are now available on the Corner Store
If you are a returning youth player, you can use your uniform from the prior season; the uniform design is the same. The team shorts are optional, you can also wear black athletic shorts.
